I am TERRIBLE at drawing… But I love to do it when talking about money, especially when talking about how to make your money work better for you.
There are so many terms and so much jargon in the finance industry and I feel like drawing pictures helps cut through that.
For example, I was talking with a very sharp client couple the other day about how we suggest people handle their bank accounts. Part of the way through explaining it, the husband kept asking questions that I felt like I had already explained. I felt like what I was saying should be easy to understand, but it just wasn’t landing. I then opted to draw for them what I was talking about. Instantly it all made sense to them.
So forgive my drawing (and handwritting skills) but I present to you, my philosophy on how to make sure as much money as possible can be working for you.
