Each quarter we put together a PowerPoint detailing how different markets performed over the last quarter. You will notice that in Quarter 1 of 2022 ALL markets were down. The US Market was down 5.28% while the International Developed Market was down 4.81% and the Emerging Market was down a whopping 6.97%, thanks to the Russia/Ukraine conflict. Global Real Estate was down 3.81%. The bond market was negative again in the 1st quarter to post a blistering -5.93% return in the US and -4.05% Globally.
Over the past year, most equity markets are still up. US 11.92%, International Developed 3.04%, Global Real Estate 18.97% and Emerging is down 11.37%. Both US and Global Bond Markets are down. US down 4.15%, Global down 3.56%.
